Job satisfaction

Net Job satisfaction is at +40 – its lowest for over two years (autumn 2015 (+48))

Mental health

Almost 1 in 10 (9%) employees describe their mental health as either poor or very poor. Younger employees are significantly more likely than older employees to describe their mental health as poor.

Learning and development

Almost a third (30%) of employees disagree or strongly disagree that their organisation provides them with opportunities to learn and grow.

Job performance

Over a third (34%) disagree that their organisation inspires the very best of them in the way of job performance.

Career progression

36% say it is unlikely or very unlikely that they feel able to fulfil their career aspirations in their current organisation (32% in the autumn 2015).

Job seeking

Almost a quarter (24%) of employees are currently looking for a new job (autumn 2015: 20%).

N.B.  This figure only included people actively looking for a new role and not those who would change role if they learned of an opportunity.
