WCoSP, Sheriffs’ Award
You may already be aware of the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals’ Sheriffs’ Award for Bravery which is presented each year by the Sheriffs of the City of London to an individual, or individuals, who have shown commendable and selfless courage in the course of protecting another person or their property. I am writing to seek your support in gaining nominations.
Nominations are sought nationally from members of the public, the Emergency Services and the Armed Forces. The recipient of the award is presented with a trophy, framed certificate and cheque for £2500; the winner’s name is also permanently inscribed on the Honours Board and in the Book of Honour, both of which are on display at the Central Criminal Court – the Old Bailey.
The 2014 Award will be presented by the Sheriffs of the City of London at the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals’ Annual Dinner to be held at Merchant Taylors’ Hall on Monday, 13 October 2014.

Nominations should be received no later than 1 August 2014. Nominations can be made online via a web based form at www.wcosp.com or a pdf version can be downloaded.
